The seventh meeting of the Board (B7) of the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage (FRLD / Fund) will take place from 7 to 9 of October, 2025, in Manila, in the Republic of the Philippines. At B7 the Board will work to operationalise the start up phase of the Fund the—Barbados Implementation Modalities (BIM).
This summary for policy makers provides key messages on human mobility including displacement to ensure the needs and priorities of migrants, refugees, and displaced people in all developing countries are adequately considered in the operationalization of the BIM.
