This London School of Economics (LSE) event brought together a range of speakers who have researched and organised around climate change loss and damage, to discuss the potential and limitations of existing policy frameworks, and to examine how climate justice might inform a global response.

This event is part of our Shaping the Post-COVID World initiative:

Speakers include:

• Professor Emily Boyd, Professor in sustainability studies and a leading social scientist with a specialist focus on environment and climate change.

• Professor Ademola Oluborode Jegede, Professor of Law in the School of Law, University of Venda, Thohoyandou, South Africa.

• Professor Kyle Whyte, Professor at the School for Environment and Sustainability, University of Michigan.

• Dr Rebecca Elliott, Assistant Professor Department of Sociology LSE (Chair).
