The fifth meeting of the Advisory Board (SNAB 5) of the Santiago Network for Loss and Damage (Santiago Network) will take place from 2 to 4 September 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland.The provisional agenda covers many important topics for the effective operation of the Santiago Network including:
- Operationalisation of the Santiago network:
- Membership of the Santiago network
- Catalysing technical assistance
- Managing funding provided for technical assistance
- Strategies of the Santiago network:
- Santiago network strategy
- Communications strategy
- Outreach strategy
- Resource mobilization strategy
- Work programme of the Santiago network 2026-27
- Collaboration with the WIM Executive Committee and with the Fund for responding to Loss and Damage
The following key messages respond to provisional agenda items 3-12 building upon an extensive body of work as part of the L&DC’s Santiago Network Project.
