DAILY POLICY UPDATES FOR THE SEVENTH MEETING OF THE BOARD OF FUND FOR RESPONDING TO LOSS AND DAMAGE

The seventh meeting of the Board (B7) of the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage (FRLD) will take place from 7 to 9 of October, 2025 in Manila, in the Republic of the Philippines. The provisional agenda, which is subject to change, lists important issues including but not limited to:
- Operationalising the Barbados Implementation Modalities (BIM)
- Long-term resource mobilisation strategy and plan to mobilise financial resources
- Addendum to the report of the Board to the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) at its thirtieth session (COP 30) and the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA) at its seventh session (CMA 7)
- Matters related to complimentary and coherence, including:
- Organisation of the second annual high level dialogue
- Modalities for complementarity and coherence with the Santiago Network
- Dialogue with civil society.
Across the next three days we will provide updates on all of the agenda items discussed in open sessions by the Board.
