DAILY POLICY UPDATES FOR THE FIFTH MEETING OF THE ADVISORY BOARD OF THE SANTIAGO NETWORK FOR LOSS AND DAMAGE

The Fifth Meeting of the Advisory Board of the Santiago Network for Loss and Damage (SNLD) will take place from 02 to 04 September 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland. The provisional agenda includes important issues, including but not limited to:

  • Operationalisation of the Santiago network:
    • Membership of the Santiago network
    • Catalysing technical assistance
    • Managing funding provided for technical assistance
  • Strategies of the Santiago network:
    • Santiago network strategy
    • Communications strategy
    • Outreach strategy
    • Resource mobilization strategy
  • Work programme of the Santiago network 2026-27
  • Collaboration with the WIM Executive Committee and with the Fund for responding to Loss and Damage.

Across the next three days we will provide live updates on all of the agenda items discussed in open sessions by the Advisory Board.
