On May 24, 2023, the Loss and Damage Collaboration and the Platform on Disaster Displacement (PDD) jointly convened the 4th call of the "Loss and Damage and the Challenges of Human Mobility and Displacement Working Group". The Group attempts to bring together experts working on Loss and Damage and Human Mobility to share experiences and work towards common advocacy objectives.

The call was attended by more than 30 participants and focused on the following topics:

1. Intel sharing: what happened at the first Transitional Committee Workshop #1 (WK1), what will happen at the 2nd Transitional Committee meeting (TC2) and at the Bonn Climate Conference (SB 58), with updates from Mr Manuel Marques Pereira (IOM) and Mrs Erin Bishop (UNHCR) on the contributions their organizations have made to the process.

2. Advocacy messages update: Revised version of the messages and potential deployment at SB 58.

The slide show that was used to facilitate the webinar is available here, and includes links to all the documents and processes discussed in the call.
