The case study from La Ruta Del Clima seeks to motivate research on the adverse effects that climate change is having on communities from a collaborative approach. The objective of this case study is to explore, from a community perspective, the climatic impacts and their implications regarding the losses and damages that are registered in the community of Cahuita, on the South Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. The community is recognized as the base and authorized unit to lead analysis exercises regarding the losses and damages caused by climate change.
