In September 2021, the Government of Vanuatu announced its intentions to take climate change to the International Court of Justice to seek an Advisory Opinion. This event organised by Climate Action Network International (CAN International), The Center for Participatory Research and Development (CPRD) and Shariatpur Development Society (SDS), discusses the merits of such an Advisory Opinion in support of the Paris Agreement in this critical decade of action.
