On November 22, 2023, the Loss and Damage Collaboration and the Platform on Disaster Displacement (PDD) jointly convened the 8th call of the Loss and Damage and the "Challenges of Human Mobility and Displacement Working Group". The Group brings together experts working on Loss and Damage and Human Mobility to share experiences and work towards common advocacy objectives.

The call was attended by 30 participants and focused on the following topics:

1. A debrief from TC5 on both generic L&D topics and on specific Human Mobility aspects

2. An overview of events and engagements on Human Mobility at the upcoming COP28

3. Sharing of information among members of the community on recent work and plans for COP28.
